If I were to buy a new bike right now, that is what it would be.

                      First few days impressions....
The bike is wicked fast. Granted it's not GSXR, but the inline triple seems to build torque almost like a V-Twin.
Throttle response is excellent. When I roll of, I don't immediatly loose "all forward motion" as has happened to me on the SV650 and the VFR800.
The bike turns pretty quickly, although in the parking lot at full lock it's turning radius is greater than the kat's i.e. the sprint reqiures a larger area to be turned around in.
The seat is not fantastic... but it does encourage you to use your legs (gel seat on order already).
The Sprint is only slightly heavier than the Bandit or the Kat and actually carries the weight lower.
This weekend we'll probably try some 2-up riding to see how Kristin likes the pillion.
Another dislike... the bag mounting bars are plastic... which does have me a little concerned for their strength... but I guess time will tell.
The 2008 does have higher bars from the factory. I'm undecided on bar risers at the moment. Maybe, maybe not.

I still have over 400 miles to churn before the end of the motor break in, at which time it needs to go in and be changes over to fully synthetic oil. The manual advises not exceeding 5k RPM, or using more than "3/4 throttle or 3/4 top speed" whatever that means
                      -Steve
