Man I would like to ride those last couple of pics. I really want to ride through monument valley and the painted desert, that would be fun. Never ridden through a desert before.

One question. In the middle 2 pics, if you will notice in the top right and left corner there is some sort of shade. Any idea what caused that? It is there in quite a few pics I took on this trip. Not sure why.
BTW, these were taken with a film camera, Minolta Maxxum 5.

Are you using a lens hood?

I've had the same issue sometimes when using a hood on my 200mm and 300mm zoom lenses.

I had the issue when using a cheapy adjustable rubber hood.... once I switched to a plastic scalloped hood I was able to avoid the corner shading.
