Blacked out signals

I got tired of the ugly orange signals so I decided to black them out with some left over NIGHTSHADES transparent lens paint.
I want to eventually paint the bike Black and copper so I may keep it like this or go back to orange depending on the design I use.
but for now it looks better IMO...maybe not the safest but oh well.

Yeah I'd like to see how they shine, I have a black Katana and was thinking of doing the same but am worried about safety.

At night they are no different then any other tail light with a tinted cover. Still very noticable but in the daylight a little bit harder to see.
I'll see what i can do about a couple lit up shots, although i may need to wait until the weekend to use the GF's camera, mine sucks Harley balls

With the Nightshades tint, you can apply it as dark or as light as you want. I have the same thing on my shadow. I'll try to post a pic of that too. If you go too dark just wet sand it off and start over...

do you paint it on the outside or inside? outside I'm guessing?

You lightly sand the lens with 1000 grit sand paper and then paint the outside.

I found out it's not very easy to get shots of a light that's blinking on and off... 50 shots to get 4 good ones LOL

yea I did them like that on mine but I later broke one in my fall so i got clear/smoked ones now, i love NITESHADES
