  • Hidden Treasure (56K Beware When Clicking)

Well I final got around to taking Teresa's engine apart today. I had no clue on how to pull the case apart. I called Keith today and asked him just some general questions. He helped me out by telling me to look under the starter for a hidden screw and there it was. There is also 2 more where the oil filter goes. Those were the last 3 three and I was able to get the case open. I open the engine case and looked in and saw this little beauty shining so nicely at me. The pic shows a balnk space where the cam balancer is suppose to be and it is now. So here is what I found.

Yes smart butt. It is all back together. Got it done around 7 last night. I took my time on it. Now I am just waiting on the gaskets for the side covers to come in and then it will be complete and I can put the engine back in the bike.

Yeah it is in, but I have to take engine case back apart. In all my excitment I did not put the bushings in that go with the balancer. I do not even have them. I still have to order them. $30 for all 4 with shipping.

I will take pics of the process this time and d a little how to on it. All motorcycle engines are basically the same. So the steps I talk about should help just about anyone pull the case apart.
