  • My NEW UPPER TREE 56k Beware

Here is the next modded piece going on my Kat. I thought about having it chromed but then thought nah. I was told at certain times of the day it would blind me. So I decided on a color match one. Enjoy the pics.

Gixer it is paint. PC would be great but will still chip. I am getting some clear plastic to put over the main part of the tree. Where the keys would hit and stuff. waiting on that to come in to be put on then putt the triple tree on.

Looks killer man. I thought it was PC from the way it was layed on. Wonder how it'd look with a CF overlay??

That looks GREAT!!!!! One question, are the fork ends going to fit in the holes or are you going to have to get the paint out of them first?

It should fit right though. I might have to sand it a little but I really don't think so.

Gixer I have order a clear covering from tricktape.com to put over it. The clear will protect it plus allow the color to still show. I do not have an CF on my bike so it would look out of place.

Because it was just painted tuesday night. Last time I put something on right after I got it from him I messed up the paint a little. Besides no hurry on it. I still have to get my swing arm and put it on.

Smart move Highsight. I polished the three on my old Gixxer and hated it. I let it frost up for just that reason. it would blind me from time to time. It would be like a flash going off in my face a very in opertune times.

Jim was telling me about that Gixxer and the sun hitting off it when he rode it. That is why I decided to go with paint. I did not know it would turn out this great. I have to stop on my bike now. I have to start putting time into the wifes bike.
