  • Finally got around to painting it this weekend

Bought my Kat in March of '05, it needed some bondo/fiberglass work when I bought it, and then I dropped it a few months later and that didn't help any Shortly after that I started pulling the panels off and started sanding them. I sanded them pretty quickly, and basically they've been sitting around waiting for me to finish them up and do the fiberglass/bondo and then paint them. My roommate Brendan (minitruck1506 on here) bought a bike about a month ago, got his sanded and we figured we'd put the long weekend to good use.

    Mine when I bought it:

Parts of our bikes everywhere in the backyard on sunday afternoon:

Sunday night parts in the basement just before we started painting:

Now that its mostly back together:

Debating whether or not I want to put the front fender back on it...and I guess I better put it back in the sig now that I finally got it close to where I want it

Front fenders are good for keeping trash and rocks out of your oil cooler.

      Just something to think about.

          Yeah, that'll just be weird

This is the current design that I'm thinking for decals/accents (don't mind the blurriness, it didn't like the conversion to jpg):
