        This has been posted before (on another forum) and the picture sparked the debate about authenticity. Many argued that this was a staged scene...What do you think?

          Yeah, I remember that. If I remember correctly, it was not staged. I had found links to the articles of the actual accident in a couple of newspapers.

            From what I beleive it is truely authentic, and the rider was killed in the accident.

              ...and if I remember the story, the elderly driver of the car was at fault for failure to yield right-of-way. Although from the damage, I believe speed may have also been a factor.

                  It was in California. The Rider was a high school kid who saved up to buy an F4i I believe. He was riding at too high a speed, but she pulled out in front of him. He did die becuase of the accident.
