Hey guys, I have an older Dainese K jacket. It has a place in the back of it that will accept a back protector but I don't know which one to use. Any suggestions?

Do you mean a spine protector (which you would wear under the Jacket)
Or like a back pad?

I have a "pocket" in the back of my jacket that will accept a protector. Just wondering if those are "one size fits all" or what I should really get??? I have had my jacket since about 2001 and it is a great jacket, I have just never gotten the protector that goes in it.'REMEMBER SOME PEOPLE ARE

As I understand it ,that pocket don't hold MUCH . I actually took the foam out of my previous jacket to put in my current one , and had to kinda MAKE it fit . If you're looking for SERIOUS back protection , I BELIEVE you either want a jacket with something built in , or and external protector .

If you are just looking for a pad to insert into the jacket I would recommend a Knox Pad (http://www.britishmotorcyclegear.com...body-armor.asp). They are comfortable to wear and rate well for protection. For ultimate protection I would go for a full blow back protector like HS pictured. HighVelocity makes a nice one (http://www.highvelocitygear.com/Moto...BodyArmor.html). They also sell insert pads like the knox pad.

Dainese has a line of great back protectors, both the kind you wear and the kind that fit into your jacket.
