Who makes the best gear..period ?

Quality, cost, reliability, the whole 9 years.. who in your opinion makes THE BEST gear for riders today?

Rocket? Icon? Firstgear? someone else....

Mainly referring to leathers, textile, mesh...but feel free to throw in ur opinions on lids, boots, gloves, etc..

I guess it depends on what you are trying to do? Yes protection is the main factor but street? Track? stunt? etc...

I'm actually to new to make any recommendations...I have not had any high speed acccidents to be able to report the quality of my gear, nor do I want to find out

Hopefully we can get some good feedback on this thread...

Vanson is nice for street gear.
Kushitani is a nice 1 piece suit.
Aerostitch makes the best textile gear.
Alpinestars makes nice boots.

I think for the *best* gear, you will want to contact someone like Barnacle Bill and have something custom made.

joe rocket really doesn't do too swell.. the stitching is quality...

Icon is somewhat of an aquired taste Ive noticed..either you love it or you hate it. Personally, its alittle questionable advertising techniques, but the gear, no complaints there from me. I know several riders with different icon pieces..and they all love them.

same here...but A* is better in my opinion...JR has good quality...better price...and EXCELLENT reputation (they are replacing my 2 pce suit)

A* doesn't fitt me...I am too muscular I guess...Euro stuff NEVER fits me right.
