HJC Helmets

Just purchased an HJC "Smoke" helmet and man am I happy! I have the total of 3 helmets (Shoei, KBC and now HJC) and this one takes the cake! Plenty of vents for those hot Florida summer days and very comfortable. The dull gray metallic look with hints of black "smoke" look really cool. And for $160.00, I aint complaining. Along with the gray/black Joe Rocket jacket and my ride (black & purple), looks sweet!!

Which KBC do you have? I'm thinking of switching to them(KBC VR-1 Euro) from my HJC FG-12. I've read with the KBC you may need to go up a size from HJC.

I have the KBC VR-2. Had it for about a year and the padding in the forehead area wasn't the best. That and it was very loud.

I happend to find the tinted (smoke) shield at a local dealer. The Iridium shield I want needs to be ordered.

HJC, man you can get them for a song just about anywhere...good lid and reasonably priced almost everywhere.

I have a HJC now, but I am thinking of getting a new ICON or Scorpian lid soon. I really like that new ICON lid with the skulls on it.

What didnt u like about your AFX ? I was considering them, alittle bit, here of late, as a second lid.

but I do really like the scorpion lids though, man are they comfortable and unique.

matt, if you want an extra lid go with the AFX. nothing to complain about the AFX! served me for a whole season. just replaced it for no reason (nice to have some extra $$$ laying around once in a while) i'm also thinking about buying the SCORPION but maybe not till mid-season. so as for the AFX, I give it a Cant beat the $$$ on those. I paid $100 for mine last year.

I just got my first HJC helmet and I love it, I also ordered the blue rst shield along with it. It is extremely comfortable and has more vents than I know what to do with.
