  • 1999 ZX-9r

    Along with Katana 750 I have a Ninja ZX-9r - LOVE IT

Piped with a D&D, jetted, sprocket for speed and just 14k miles.

    NICE RIDE!

That's not really much of a bike review

      I'm getting there

      1. Bike has GREAT acceleration from 0 to 120
      2. Top end is greater than I have in my 92 ZX-11
      3. Corners great
      4. A little longer shift between 1 and 2 than in my earlier Ninjas
      5. A fairly comfortable ride
      6. For longer rides, I would raise the handle bars a little higher than stock

All in all if you are in the market for a 1999 era ZX-9r I would suggest looking hard at it and if it is not beat to heck and you can find a good deal, go for it. If you are like me you will NOT be disappointed.

Gotta love the Ninjas. Fast bikes and would love to get my hands on a new ZX-14. Nice pic of your ride. Good stuff.

          NICE RIDE!

I had a 98 about 10 years ago. Loved it then and am still comparing my current rides to it. Much more comfortable to ride than anything I have owned since, including a VFR750. Had full Muzzy system and Dynojet kit. Top end on this bike was outrageous....
