KTM sport bike LC8

Any experience with KTM sport bikes? I know the dirt and adventure type bikes are great, high quality, and super spendy. How about a LC8.

Saw one when I was doing my license testing awhile back. But I've never tested one out.

I've never seen one up close before. But its coming up to my 25th wedding anniversary soon and we've decided to get each other something nice. Shes always wanted a Mini-Cooper S and want me to get an new car but It might be cool to get a dream type bike and cheaper also. I had considered a SR1000 BMW, but the KTM might be cool.

It the KTM RC8 R, KTM discontinued this beauty in 2015. It is powered by a 1195cc V-Twin engine and it comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It takes around 173 HP of max power and 123 Nm of torque. KTM RC8 claims a top speed of nearly 280 kmph (source) and it can accelerate from 0-100 under 3 secs. This is one of the most unique superbikes ever made. It is rarely seen where I live, also when it was launched in my country it carried a hefty price tag. I hope KTM relaunches the RC8 R with upgrades and a new design soon.
