I rode an Aprilia RSV4 Factory this summer. I didn't ride it long, as it was just purchased by a friend of mine, and he was paranoid (justifiably so) about anyone on it. Great ride. To many features to remember, and absolutely TRACK oriented. Not an incredibly practical bike for the streets. And they get hot as f*ck in an exremely short period of time. You can easily burn yourself through your jeans if you touch the frame to long with your leg, or any other part of your person. They stay hot as f*ck for a long period after riding a short distance. I remember that he told me about being able to move the entire engine something like three inches for or aft, to minimize front end lift, and that it has a computer controlled launch assist. Oh, and it has some type of anti theft thing built in, that disables the motor if his particular key is not inserted in the ignition.

I rode a Hayabusa that we had at the dealership I worked at. Nice bike. LOADS of effortless power. Handled like a tank at parking lot speeds, but was honestly fairly light on its feet at riding speeds. It didn't try to loop me unexpectedly or anything, but it would pull the front up anytime you wanted to with very little effort.

The bad..... the riding position was awful. I'm only about 5'8", and the reach to the bars was unbearable. I don't believe I could make it an hour straight on it. The footpeg position I could deal with (though if I was taller it would probably be cramped), but the reach to the bars is SO far. Also, it's a heavy bike, and it feels like a heavy bike. Don't expect to be dicing up canyons like a 600 race-rep. For its weight, though, it carries it well.

The strange..... despite how many of them are on the roads, people still gawk at them. I don't know why. I think they are kind of bulbous and porky looking...... but the b****es loved that s**t.
