I couldn't find it anywhere here, so this might be a re-post.
If you have a post kat and have problems with a burnt headlight harness connector, you can cut and crimp the wires together, as has been suggested here many times.
If you're interested in keeping things as original as possible, you can get the exact same connector with new crimp on terminals for very cheap.
you'll need the six pin version, and it comes with male and female connectors, as well as terminals. There seems to be enough wire to do the repair once, but you'd probably have to add wire to do it again...
