wire harness help

i have a 94 600 and will a 750 88-96 (i think) work on my 600 i need a new one http://www.flickr.com/photos/7532138...in/photostream and i need to know how to fix the black clip on the other side of the harness its melted to

looks like this is right side, under the seat by the starter solenoid but im tryin to remember what the heck that is lol. If I were you I'd fix your harness you have over a random 20 year old used one unless of course its thrashed. But judging by this one spot it doesnt appear to have gotten too far.

i see how i hooks up i melted over time and the cases melted and the wires were touching i separated them and put electrical tape over each wire dont know if works bike runes like crap (i need new clamps for airbox )

There are differences between 600, 750 cc wiring harnesses. There are diffrences between some years for the same CC engines even.

Your best bet on a harness to match up perfetly is stick with the exact year and cc you have.
