Interesting information I came across while working on my bike. Accordingly, the cutoff circuit is incorporated in the ignitor to prevent overreving(rev limitor). But only activates if the engine speed reaches 11.500 r/min to only #1 and #4.
So, it might be possible that for those people not running a TPS, the CPU could be thinking it's a no load situation and limiting the spark early.
