  • Please help...GSX750F '95 CDI Swap

Hi everybody, i really need help,
I have Kat750 95, and the CDI is die.
I'm sorry if my question is a stupid question

In my country, it's very difficult to find the original CDI, and i found in local shop, sell a CDI 32900-46E00 from GSXR1100 WP.

And i saw the pin of GSXR1100WP CDI is same like GSX750F 89-97.
And i check from internet, pulse generator and pulse rotor physics is same.
    But i'm not really sure.

Can i use this CDI from GSXR1100WP for my 750F ?

    Thank's for your advice...

As long as it came from the oil cooled GSXR, and the pins match I think it should work fine. As I recall the 750 motor had the highest redline, so the redline from the 1100 motor might be different.

Anyone want to venture a guess what the "W" stands for?

Good call, no it won't work, that CDI is for a water cooled GSXR1100.

No, that's what the "P" is. The "W" means water cooled.
