pre kat gauge bulbs?

I did a little searching an just got kinda confused lol. I wanna replace the stock gauge bulbs with blue but I'm not sure of the bulb number to reference to. I saw the 74's in Autozone but it wasn't the correct voltage. If someone could give me a simple answer I would appreciate it . I just need to know what to call the bulb on my search or even a place to get them in blue.

Don't mean to thread jack but Im doing the same thing. Got my gauges broken down tryinng to figure out how to remove the needles. I have also been in contact with the folks from dakota digital...

Or replace the bulbs with LED's

Any good sites or recommendations for LED then? Cuz all I've been able to find out is it seems everyone says LED or "looks like 74 style" lol

You will have to retro the LED to the current rubber socket, very easy to do. The LEDs can be purchased at most auto parts all ready to be installed.
