Dissasemble meters on pre 98 Kat

Hi Guys! I've recently bought a Katana with the idea of rebuilding the cowlings and doing all the cosmetic details it was missing, since it's in good running condition.
While I'm having the plastics welded and primed, I took the dash cluster apart to do some minor welding and painting it, but my gauges are kinda faded and was wondering on repainting them. I cannot imagine any easy way to open the meters... is it possible or the damage will be greater than the reward of having a nice looking set of gauges?

Instead of searching using the word meter, use gauge.
