  • Alarm fitted no fob

    Hi folks,

I bought 99 750 Kat last year, and I love it.

However I was unaware that it had been fitted with a Datatool Alarm system, which I didn't notice until I took side seat fairing off a long while after, no mention of the alarm by previous owner and no fob given with it. It seems to have all leads and siren still fitted.

I have now decided to have a look at getting a fob and try using it. Here lies my problem, I don't know how to check which one it is and if I will be able to reprogram a fob to it.

Does anyone have any ideas, or suggestions.

    TIA

There must be a model number on the box somewhere.
I got a replacement fob for my Subaru off eBay, works awesome.
There is a reprogramming sequence (for the cars anyway).
Data tool has little LCDs on the fob right? You might not get that from an eBay seller, but who knows whats available.

Actually the alarm wires had all be cut off underneath the side fairing so bang goes that idea!
