  • Tail light went out :(

Well i think i have tracked down the problem, but im no electrical engineer so i know everyone likes pictures....i pulled the kit out of the bike and checked all my connections/ fuses my brake lights/ turn signals / hazzard lights all work fine, only the running light isnt working... i didnt see it atfirst but on the back of the led board there is a red wire that had broke off from under some RTV im going to see if i can sotter it back on... that should fix the problem right? oh yeah this is for a Clear Alternatives intergrated tail light and turnsignal led kit

Really? Maybe I should pop mine out and see how it looks...I've heard about CA making less than stellar quality products but haven't had an issue with my taillight yet. Might be worth some preventative maintenance...

            You mean the Chinese, right?

My CA front clear turn signals were of low quality. Then I switched to OEM and their product is top-notched.

be VERY carefull soldering that wire back on. those board can get melty VERY easy with the etched on circuits. i quite often will put a dab of hotmelt glue over soldered connections if they're not heat shrinked or such.
