    LED turn signal question

    Ok, I did a search and could not find the answer, maybe using wrong terms.

    Anyway, I got some new LED turn signals, I connected them to make sure they work. No problem, fast blink, all bulbs work.. I had a couple of 20w 5ohm resistors from a kit on my buddies bike for his clear alternatives tail light. So I connected the resistor to the one turn and slow flash, BUT only 3 bulds in the LED lit up... So to check I disconnected the resistor and all the bulbs light up... im like ok WTF!!! ..

    So my question is, is the resistor too big??? what should I get?? (yes i know its 2 questions.lol)

        Well, i will probably keep mine that way if I cant find the right resistors...

          You need a load equalizer, not resistors. That will give you fully lit, slow flash LEDs.

              sorry if this is repetitive but new here. haha my rear turn signals dont work, andi want to replace the brake light on my 88kat with an led one anyway, if i got the new light would the turn signals work on it?

                  I have been running mine with out the provided resistors for over a month and no problems
                  I didnt put the resistors in because they say to keep clear of everything because of the heat from them

                    Yeah, I didn't want to have that MELTDOWN cause of a badly placed resistor either. FAST as FAST can be then ... unless I find out that it is bad.
