Rear Brake Switch - 06 600

I am trying to find the rear brake switch on my '06 600. The bike was wrecked and maybe it fell off? I am looking behind the chrome cover by the right footpeg and not seeing anything. I'd appreciate any help.... didn't see it on Bike Bandit either.

Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure that I need a switch.... I need help figuring out where it mounts on the bike. I took off the chrome heel plate and unbolted the master cylinder resovoir and behold, there it was tucked behind the frame tube.

I got it adjusted and all is well now. The rear brake light would never come on....so much for setup and checking at the dealer.
