In preparation for a possible 750 swap into my 06 600, I just won a set of 99 model 750 gauges on ebay.(wanted the higher marked redline and the 160mph speedo). So here goes the questions.
1. will the new 99 model cluster simply plug in and work right on my 06 600? I'm pretty sure they will, just wondering if there were any changes between 99 and 06 that may cause me trouble.
2.(Not at all related to the first question, I'm just curious and the threads I 've read on the subject dont seem to give a clear comparison) Does the 99-up 750 have a higher rev limiter than the 99-up 600? I just thought that since the indicated redline was higher, that maybe the CDI on the 750 has I higher rev limiter as well.
