2000 katana 600 electrical problem PLZ HELP!!!

Hello new member to this awesome forum and I hope someone can enlighten me abit because I'm dumbfounded or maybe overthinking it either way I cant figure out why my main fuse keeps blowing at first I thought it was my switch replaced that and then I replaced my starter solenoid and I have narrowed it down to my alternator??? So everytime I attempt to hook up the power wire onto the nut the fuse blows????? Can someone explain why this is happening??? Thanks and sorry for the rant excited about it being my first post lmao safe riding everyone!
