I wanted to change the bulbs in the dash to LED's . Red or maybe Blue. Has anyone done this ? I have not pulled the bulbs out yet , but i know how to do that kind of stuff.

Yes, it's definitely worth it. You have to take the dash assembly out of the housing to undo about 8 philips screws from behind. I usually have half my fairing off whenever I decide to do dash work. There are 3 nuts that you have to access to get the dash out but it's not too difficult.
Once the dash is apart the bulbs simply twist out of a printed circuit board. They then just pull out of the bulb housing you just twisted out. I got mine from http://www.superbrightleds.com/specs/74_t15.htmSuzuki Katana: The best underated motersicle in da woild

It definately looks sweet as all get out..and if you've already got the dash apart, puttin on some illumiglo gauges just really sets off the deal !

Hey meanstreak did the lights make the temp go up on your gauge??? In 15 sec. the temp went from 73.9 to 74.1 no much but I just noticed it....
Nice setup though....Um I dont know any wise quotes so go read katansoldiers quote in his signature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That thing has an external temp sensor that is mounted above the headlight. I guess the headlight heat made it go up a bit.Ron

Yes, it has been a long day today.
Check with either Beek or Speede, I believe one of them did the dash mod, and they would be able to tell you exactly, or look under the body shop section, and check in there, I think they did a write up on it there.Kan-O-Gixxer!
