Fuel should only flow threw the petcock, sounds like a vent tube is corroded out. Is the hose directly on the tank or on a round cap looking part?

My bike has a huge hose from bottom of gas tank that goes to who knows where... The rest hoses are connected to the petcock. Huge hose dumps gas out. I don't know where it plugs into...
