  • bolt size question

    Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help - I've checked the wiki, the service manual, and the Haynes manual. I've searched the site and googled like a champ but I'm stuck.

Does anyone know the size and pitch of the oil union bolt from the cooler hoses to the sump?
    The part number is 09360-16002.

RonAyers show the label as 'BOLT, UNION (16X32)' so I'm assuming it's M16*32mm with 1.5mm tp but I want to be sure.
I'm not in a position to pull it out and look at it right now, otherwise I'd get the pitch gauge on it.

    She's a 2000 600, if that helps.

    Thanks in advance!

Not sure that size is correct. Mine takes a 14mm wrench. This is a hollow banjo style bolt.

Are you looking to replace it? Why not just order it from Ron ayers?

Thanks for the replies - I'm replacing but not like-for-like.
I'm swapping it out with an AN fitting so that i can use AN/JIC standard hoses in place of the Suzuki hoses.
I should be able to measure up tomorrow and check the size.

        Thanks for the help.
