  • Battery won't stay connected

Hey guys, I have a 93 Blue Katana 600 that I recently took the battery out to charge it (no place I could plug in the tender outside). I've charged it up and started the bike up, but I notice that putting the battery back in, the - and + terminals on the battery itself are supposed to be connected to these little metal hooks that screw into the terminals. I'll get a picture once I get out of work, sorry this is so vague!

Anyway, they wouldn't screw back in, they just kept turning forever. I don't think I lost any part of the battery when moving it, but they just won't screw in and lock down the terminals to the hooks, so when I move the bike slightly, the battery loses contact, and the bike shuts off. Any advice?

    Thanks!!
