petcock question

Hi guys, I have a quick question. I have a 95 pre 600 that I've been doing up in the workshop and the fuel tap has bits missing and has been stood full of water, it's shot. I have acquired a similar looking assembly that will fit but only has one outlet, like my post 750 has! Will it work if I use a t-piece to join the lines?

I am no expert but I would not recommend doing that. I would think it would restrict fuel flow and cause a problem, but that is just my opinion.

I did think that but wondered if anyone had tried it and knew for sure. If it's a no no then I'll use it on my post cos that leaks!
