I have had a problem on a couple occasions with NGK spark plugs. Does anyone use a different brand plug in their GSX1100F?
Wouldn't mind using some of those long life platinum plugs if any good.

They are the only ones that I have used.
Are you sure it is the plug itself causing the issue, and not the lead going to it? If the lead is old and cracked, it might be arcing out and not getting sufficient juice.

Definitely the problem was the plug. After I replaced them it ran properly. I have read on the net that NGK were a problem to a few people.

I have been using NGK plugs for 35+ years, on dirt bikes, cars, street bikes, never a problem.

            Saw your other thread

Huh, maybe just a bad one off? Did you check to see if it was gapped properly before chucking the bad one?
I've heard of several people running irridium plugs on either 600 or 750 kats without bad consequences, but no one on 1100 that I can recall.
