on my 97 600 the oil light is staying on, it is full and I just changed the oil in it. Do i have to manually reset it? If so how would i go about that. Thanks

    No manual reset.

You might have legit low oil pressure. oil pump? Haven't heard of those being an issue, but first time for everything. Shit clogging the filter or internal oil passages? (Using too much RVT sealant when closing up the valve cover after a valve adjustment? )

Bad sensor? Bad wiring to/from sensor?

There's a manual available for download here, I'd be willing to guess there is info in it for testing the sensor at least.

There is a manual and it is covered. Usually a bad pressure switch or wiring issue.
