  • well.... oil on cylinders

blue smoke on start up. thought valve guide seals but on the other hand i have been hard on it this summer. got it twisted up well past 7k rpms on more than one occasion. so not having seen any internals yet, i'm planning for the worst with a whole gasket set.

now some time ago i read something about 600s being sleeved 750s. and that got me thinking about converting it to a 750 over the winter. is this a real possibility? i understand associated costs and what not but i'm not going to worry about that until after i know how possible it is. i'll weigh my options at a later date.

Cheaper to just get a good used 750 motor and carbs. 600 carbs on a 750, won't work well.

300-500 but that doesn't include carbs, unless you get lucky

          600 carbs on a 750 work a lot better than 750 carbs on a 600.
