Difference in models 2006

Being on my mobile device. Searching through this is a little difficult for me so I'll post a thread. I'm looking for a gas tank through partszilla yes buying new without dents. Hard to find. Anyways it is asking me what model it is k4 k5 or k6. What is the difference between and how do I check what mine is vin doesn't show anything k on it just gsx750f. Anyone with idea can help thanks

1998 to 2006, 600 and 750 all used the same tanks

If you order a new OEM tank, I think you get a cali tank with slightly different capacity (less).

After digging I found out a website that will help http://www.cyclepedia.com decodes it. I know that all tanks are same but to get accurate order through partszilla I had to k n ow tank model hope this helps anyone looking for info on their bike thanks
