  • Tok's at it again......

Well after I received my bike back from the cowboy mechanics who supposedly fixed my starter clutch problem, only to leave me with a bike that is not road worthy or safe to ride, I decided to strip her down and give her some very much overdue TLC.

So I have decided to carry out the following tasks:

    1) Replace all the cables, choke, throttle and clutch.
    2) Replace starter clutch.
    3) Clean and balance carbs.
    4) New chain and sprockets.
    5) Flush and replace all fluids, oil and brakes.
    6) Replace spark plugs and air filter.

At the end of the day if you want something done properly do it yourself...

    Let the fun begin

As you can see I've been a busy little bee, crabs out and in the process of been cleaned, waiting for carb kit to arrive. Stripped the starter clutch out and will replace with a good condition second hand one off ebay.

    Cables are next...

Sounds like an impressive revamp, Tok. Cowboys? You just gave me an idea for a novel, The Cowboy of Sherwood Forest.
