  • gunked up valves

So I got the valves on my 750 removed so that I could inspect them and install new springs. What I found is that the outside intake valve on each chamber was extremely gunked and the inside valves for the same chambers were almost perfectly clean. The engine had 25000 miles on it when I stopped riding it. Just wondering if something else is bad and needs to be replaced.

Valve guide seals, sound like oil and carbon build up. Hard to tell with out inspection while it was running.

That's what I was thinking and a friend of mine suggested the same thing. The bike was running like a champ when it was still being ridden. I just thought it might possibly be something else. But 3 ideas about the same problem seals the deal at least to replace them while things are still apart. Thank you for your input.
