  • 90 750f carb damage?

Hi, thank you all for this great resource and community.

I'm currently going though the carbs on a new-to-me bike and found what appears to me to be a 'crack' in the carb casting under the diaphragm. Here's an imgur album of the 4 carbs, notice how one of them looks fine. (the view is looking down with the diaphragm removed. http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/a...r/100_4210.jpg this is where the inlet is)

    http://imgur.com/a/Pv1Ea and this is the 4 close-ups.

Is this a concern? Should I maybe JB Weld this? I've already poured a bit of money into these carbs (read: that infamous rubber plug and all other rubber) that I dont mind getting the rest of it fixed up.

    Thanks in advance!

Not a concern, no there should be no JB Bubblegum anywhere near your carburetors. I hate that shit.

ok great. what causes those cracks?

also found out that it appears to be a 750 engine in a 600 frame based on engine and vin comparisons
