  • Found in a leak in my caliper...HELP?

Hey I'm new to bikes and I was replacing the front brake lines on my '95 Katana with steel lines. The banjo bolt went in the left caliper no problem, but the right side not so. I found that the banjo bolt wouldn't screw into the hole as tight as the left side (I'm not sure what's it called) and found that it leaks from under the hole (see picture). How can I fix this?
    Thanks in advance!

btw i stole the picture off of ebay

If its not leaking below the line its the line swivel

Okay thanks. What do I do if the banjo bolt won't tighten enough into the line swivel?

You're going to have to pull it apart and check/clean the two mating surfaces you could have some corrosion built up. if it continues to leak, replace them. Go here and get a set, don't go cheap on brake lines.

Definitely take it apart and clean the surfaces. It could be something as simple as a washer needing replaced. Not worth risking your life over a hole-punched slip of copper

Oh - and just use fresh brake fluid to clean stuff. Don't want water/petrol/kerosene/air/anything anywhere near your hoses.
