  • warped front brake discs

    Terrible front pulsation.

Bike is an '86 so finding them is tough. The one's I did find were $250 EACH!!!!

Are rotors really this expensive, or do they just have me by the balls due to the bikes age and limited availability????

If they are floating discs... which i believe they are, they are probably just rusted and need to be freed up.

I did mine by putting a bolt through each of the round springs/retainers, and then tightening a nut behind them so they would grab. Then you can spin the bolt clockwise and counter-clockwise, or back and forth until you free them up. Remember to clean any residue from the discs once you finish. Using WD40 or Breakway will hep.
