Hello all,
I just sat down to go through my annual carb clean-a-thon and I am now perplexed. 92 Kat 600. On the top of my carbs and underneath the diaphragm there is a concave conic section that has a hole leading to the air intake iirc. I noticed each one of these is perforated to different degrees on each of my carbs. Is this normal or do I need to solder it closed or JB weld or some such nonsense. Here is a pic of one of the carbs for illustration although all of them are gnarled in some way. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I do apologize if there is a thread about this somewhere... I gave up after my millionth carb thread.
Nevermind the grunge I am still cleaning
