  • What is the plugged hose for?

    Hello all,

2001 600. Got all my plastics/tank back from my buddy. Got the tank all hooked up properly (This was a big accomplishment for me LOL).
When I looked down I saw a hose disconnected. Thinking I messed up the tank I decided to track down the hose. It's the one next to the drain that's plugged.

The other end has a small hose clip on it, but it fell off of somewhere. I searched the forum, the service manual and for the life of me can't find where this is supposed to connect.

    HELP PLEASE!

I can get you one tonight.
It's the hose that runs next to the tank drain tube that is plugged with a rubber end.
I'll check the air box as well.

Yup, sounds like the airbox drain hose.

        Parts 10, 11 and 12 (for refferance)

It's for the ejection seat. Don't mess with it.

You're all wrong. It actually engages the afterburners.
