goddammit- while waiting for my tank to "cure" I went through the carbs again. Checked the float bowls. 1 was a bit of - dont do carb work when tired. second I went to re visually synch them and found they were wildly off... I remember doing them but the screw that connects the butterfly thingies on #2 and #3 wasn't even touching. It was WAY off. I can't believe I put it on like that, but I believe even less that the screw wiggled out. Well I will find out on friday when I slap the tank on. Hopefully it will work - I have to get my license. I figured riding for 7 years with various permits is long enough.
