Can I swap 'emulsion' type pilot jets for non-emulsion?

I'm looking at the jets at http://www.factorypro.com/products/jets.html and am wondering if it will work replacing the standard 'non-emulsion' jets with the emulsion, holes in the side. denniskirk.com also lists these as being the 'genuine oem pilot jet'... Has anyone else done this? I can only imagine it would run better if anything. I'm needing to get larger pilot jets but am unable to find the old style that I need.

You're just looking for the same jet type you have now , just bigger ? I got some pilot jets from a local shop with no problem .
