I would like to take this opportunity and express my thanks to all the help and useful advice I have received from countless KR members during the long and drawnout repair efforts of my 93 Kat 600.
Almost exactly a year ago my bike got me home after a few thousand km trip. She struggled a bit with some type of electrical malfunction, but she got me home nonetheless. The next morning she wouldn't even try to cough at me. No spark.
I was determined to fix her on my own (at least with without removing an arm...and perhaps a leg for a repair shop) -- and after getting a great deal of help and advice from everyone here, I am extremely proud to say: WE DID IT!!
I got the bike fired up last week, for the first time in about a year!!!
Anyone who has ever given me advice, you know who you are. Thank you!
The bike is still in pieces, but I should be riding in a week or so; just in time to catch the tail-end of the riding season!!!!!
Talk about sweet!!!!
Thanks all, again!
