idle probs

ok got my bike back tryed to adjust the idle b/c its idles about 900-1000 so i wanted to turn it up to about 1500 and i turn the knob and noting happens it either shoots up to 3000 and hangs there or goes down to 1000 or lower no in between

Cause something's wrong in your carbs . If I were to guess , I'd say either your pilot jets are a bit dirty , or your pilot screws aren't set right .

Disconnect your throttle and choke cables and retry. If it still does it with those cables disconnected, the problem is definitively in your carbs (or the sleeves between them and the airbox or engine).
