Exhaust Question

I recently purchased a Giannelli carbon fibre slip on for my kat750..
However, I received a gsx750 (nakid bike) mid pipe that doesnt fit right.
The centre stand bracket gets in the way, the bottom mounting doesnt line up, pipe interferes with peg.
I did notice also that on the maunfacturers site they have a mid pipe listed for the kat600 (gsx600f).
Will the kat600 mid pipe fit on a kat750? Same diameter (at headers under the bike)? And same length? If so..I can just order the gsx600f mid pipe off their site.

The mid pipe for a 600 should work on your 750. The exhaust pipe for the 600 and 750 are the same, even though the headers are different. I used the same mid pipe for my Wiley Co on both a 600 and 750.

Right now its stock pipe on there.....the new one ordered is too short....So Ill order the mid pipe for the kat600.

Since you didn't say which year Kat you have...

98 - 05: the mid-pipe connector at the header collector opening for the OEM 600 & 750 headers are identical (even as far as to use the same exhaust gasket). Check the exhaust gasket at the collector end to determine if you will need a new one at time of install (sometimes they are reusable; sometimes they get buggered up). The collector is the place in the header pipes where all four pipes come together into a single passage.

Pre-98: Not sure, but I suspect they are identical between the 600 & 750...
