If i was to upgrade the rear sprocket say to a 49 instead of our stock 47 would a speedo adjustment be needed? I was told some bikes the sensor is off of the front wheel while others are run off the tranny?

What adjusted ? You mean get a Speedohealer or something similar ? You COULD just go by one of those radar stations and note how far off your speedo is and mentally compensate . Most bike's speedos read too fast anyway , so you're usually going SLOWER than you think you are .

i have a post 98 kat and i was wondering what a speedo healer is exactly ? does it allow for you to adjust for different sprocket sizes like i assume ? and if so where do you get one ??2004 Katana 600
