What is the recommended replacement chain other than OEM for my 96 750 Katana? I assume it needs to be O-ring type. Any suggestions are welcome.

Doesn't have to be a O-ring, from what I understand, the X-ring is actually better. D.I.D. makes them I know, not sure what size you need though.

When someone talks about an o-ring chain they usually mean a sealed chain. Some chains just have rollers that spin around the pin in between the side plates. O-ring chains have rollers that are sealed at the end and the roller is packed with grease. Many companies offer x-ring seals (where the cross section on the seal looks like an x instead of an o). The x-ring provides a better seal because it has multiple sealing points.
