  • Spark Plugs

I attempted to take out my spark plugs to see what they looked like. i found that I do not have the proper socket. I guess i need a thin walled socket. Can anyone tell me where they got theres from and what size I will need. I think it is a 5/8. I have a 90 kat 600. And also where do you get your plugs from. Local dealer, parts store, online?

Just take a new plug with you when you go get a new socket , and yes , it WILL have to be a thin-walled (or "cheap" ) socket .

Was your socket the thin walled socket or a normal socket?

Yeah , see I bought a so-called "sparkplug socket" TWICE , and neither one would work . Too fat . Bought a cheapy deepwell , and THAT worked great .

Yep the cheap deeps are the best, make sure its not 1/2 drive also.

Size is 18mm for my 750 which uses NGK jr9c
