I have the throttlemeister on mine. Works good on long rides without too many hills.

i use vista cruise on mine it's nice to be able to take your hand off for a minute but other than that it kinda makes the throttle stick instead of springing back and if i loosen it on the grip it dont clamp enough to hold when i want it to.

Dan was using one, I need to get one lol.

The only comments I've heard is around town it's useless but once you hit the highway and have it set up right they are half decent.

I usually ride with guys that ride cruisers on the weekend , need the option of being able to shake that hand out more
we always seem to maintain a speed that knumbs my right hand
going to have to find something

I use the Throttlemeister on the Busa and it is really useful on long rides. I have heard good things about using a O ring as a cheap alternative, but have never tried it myself.

squiggy when is that write up coming?

Rex, I thought about one too, for the ride to work as it is mostly highway. I still am in the market for one, but would like to have a real cruise that works on hills too.

I use a yellow O-Ring from Caterpillar (yep, those big yellow machines. )

I just roll it between the throttle and bar end.

I like the idea of having a real cruise control, but holy crap that's a pretty involved installation, compared to a throttle lock.

mmm...I suppose. But I wanted a real cruise control functionality. I used to have the Throttlemeister product but it was still annoying always readjusting the throttle when going up or down hills.

The most difficult aspect was hooking up the throttle cable to the carbs, until I came up with what I have know. That was the most time consuming of this install. Well, that and trying figure which wire was the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) and what are the correct PPM (pulses per minute) dip switch. The rest of the electrical was easy enough.

I would like to turn the "How To" into a PDF file, but those Adobe writer cost to much right now.
